Mingora is a safe place until the Taliban took the city. The Taliban forces her father to close his girls’ school. This force Malala to stay at home and does nothing because the Taliban force people to throw their books, TV, and laptops. These incidents make Malala putting blogs on the BBC to make other people over the world.
The blog Diary of a Pakistani schoolgirl was published on the BBC Urdu website when the Taliban was attacking the city. This made other people all over the world known about there is no education for females or even women's rights in Mingora. After Malala won the Dutch KidsRights International Children’s Peace Prize, she went on speeches and told people that what is happening in her study.
From this book, I have learned about Pakistan always have wars, for example, the Taliban. They took the city and close all-girls’ schools which cause Malala and other girls to stay at home.
“This award is not just for me. It is for those forgotten children who want education. It is for those frightened children who want peace. It is for those voiceless children who want to change.” All teenagers in Hong Kong go to school every day. However, most of the children in Malala’s country, Pakistan, cannot go to school because their country always has wars that are not safe enough to go to school. From this book, I have learned that education is very important.
